All of the files offered on this site, whether a free file download or purchased, are sent to you in ZIP folder.
Each zipped folder will contain an EPS, AI, and SVG file. Newer designs also include a DXF and a PNG file.
In order to use the files you will need to UNZIP the ZIP file folder.
1- Download your files using the link or links provided to you when you placed your order. You will receive the links both at the bottom of the page once your order is completed and in an email that is automatically sent to you.
Click the link and save to your computer.
2- Double-click the folder to see the files that are inside.
3- Drag the file that is in the format that you want to use to your desktop or to the folder where you keep your vector files.
4- Now you can open the file in your cutting program and make cute stuff.
HELP! I CAN’T GET THE ZIP FOLDER TO OPEN
99% of the time folks download from our site and open and use the files without any problem at all, but…..
Sometimes the zip folder gives you an error and tells you that it’s an invalid file and can’t be opened. This can be happening for any number of reasons which mostly have to do with your operating system and the web browser you are using.
Here’s a link to some info provided by the good folks at Microsoft that may help you troubleshoot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308090
If for any reason you are unable to open the zip folder or the files that you’ve downloaded, please email me through the contact page and tell me which file format you need and I will email you the unzipped files in your preferred format.
(I apologize for not responding immediately all of the time, but sometimes I have to sleep or go shopping or wash the dishes.)
HELP! THE DOWNLOAD LINK DOESN’T WORK!!!
Again, most people don’t have any problems.
Evidently you are one of the “lucky” few whose browser is not meshing happily with the Ready2Cut download interface.
Please email me and I will send you the preferred file format unzipped and ready for you to use.
HELP! I downloaded the file and opened the zip folder and I’m trying to make something cute, but the file has problems.
Please email me if this happens. It could be something on your end, or it could be that the file has become corrupted or had funkiness when I uploaded it. I want to be able to check it out. So thanks for letting me know.
It’s very important to me that everyone have a great and successful experience using Ready2Cut vector images. If you are having problems downloading or find a bad file in your download, please let me know so that I can correct any errors and make it better for you – and everyone else.
